Balochi needlework or Souchen needlework is a set of special types of needlework that is done by Baloch women and was created for the first time from the mind and creativity of Baloch women. Balochi needlework has a seal of authenticity from the UNESCO organization. Every girl who is born learns this art from her mother and her relatives since she was a teenager, and it has been passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years and has remained stable until now. Today, this art is popular among most Baloch women in a long-lasting traditional form, and in most regions of Balochistan, the production of needlework products is common. In prehistoric petroglyphs and pottery, observed geometric shapes similar to Baloch needlework motifs. In fact, Baloch artists narrate their own desires and aspirations by presenting designs, paintings, environment, society, beliefs and behaviors. The main concept of Balochi needlework in appearance is in the form of regular geometric shapes embroidered on the cloth and it is mainly based on the natural elements of the environment. Balochi embroidery have been inspired by nature, some of the patterns take inspiration from the pottery of the Mehrgarh civilization, one of the oldest civilizations of the world, which once existed in the Bolan district of Balochistan.

In Baloch needlework, there are three common sewing patterns, namely High-Dense, Medium-Dense and Low-Dense, and EspadLand needlework products are of the High-Dense type (Grade A)
